Assassin Avatar Thingy
I made this using photoshop. I'm not sure about the shadow deal or the glow. I like it, yet some people may find it a little "tacky".
Tell Me What You Think. Enjoy.

Glow is wrong color, the assassin is a bit "large" or is brought out to much, I like the lighting though.

I love how you positioned it, but I'm not sure if green was the ideal choice for the glow.

That shadow and the glow makes it look like the assassin is paper thin, standing against a background that's just a picture on a wall.

I'm not feeling it. Mostly the aura and the distortion...

Exactly what I thought, actually I thought "Paper Mario". Not sure if its the "glow" effect or what is making it look very 2 dimensional. hmmm, what if you change the color of the glow to a white to match the background lighting? The shot is cool, just not sure what makes it look 2D

It seems like you wanted to take the Assasin, and put him on a different background. But the angle on the Assasin is different then on the background!
Don't do that, it will create a 2D effect, try to catch the same angle on both.
IMO, the best thing is, keep the Assasin on the background you had before, and spice the background up a bit...
Still a nice idea though

it is the orginal background i just put an inner shadow on him to cause the paper thin effect (did not realize that at the time). Still learning and thank you all for the feedback.
